Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody SolA15 recognizes mouse and rat Ki-67, a 300 kDa nuclear protein present during active phases of the cell cycle (G1, S, G2, and mitosis), but absent in resting cells (G0). Ki-67 serves as a proliferation marker, useful for determining the growth fraction of cell populations and predicting tumor outcomes.
SolA15 also recognizes human, non-human primate, and canine Ki-67.
Applications Reported: Intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes using the Foxp3/Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Set (Product #00-5523-00). Recommended ≤0.125 µg/test (100 µL final volume; 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Optimize titration for best performance.
Fluorophore Information:
PE-eFluor® 610 is excited by 488–561 nm lasers and emits at 607 nm. Use 610/20 band pass filter (PE-Texas Red® equivalent). Protect from light due to photo-induced oxidation sensitivity.
Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal fluorescence loss. Performance may vary by clone.

Target Information
Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during late G1, S, G2, and M phases of the cell cycle. It associates with euchromatin and heterochromatin regions through its FHA domain. Ki-67 is a standard proliferation marker absent in G0 cells and correlates with tumor grade and cell growth fraction. It is widely used in oncology and neuroscience research for assessing cell proliferation.
