Target Information
Rab11A는 Ras 관련 GTP 결합 단백질 YPT-1 하위군에 속하는 단백질로, 뇌, 고환, 비장, 심장, 위장 점막 등 다양한 조직에서 mRNA가 검출됩니다. 위저부에서는 Rab11A 단백질이 벽세포의 tubulovesicle 막에서 발현됩니다. Rab11A는 특정 상피세포 집단에서 apical vesicular population에 국한되어 발현되며, 최근 연구에 따르면 Rab11A는 신경세포에서 α-synuclein의 재분비를 위한 endosome recycling에 필수적이고, 방광 umbrella cell의 vesicle exocytosis에도 관여합니다. 또한 Birbeck granule의 생합성 및 PI3K/AKT 신호경로의 endosomal 활성화에도 관련되어 있습니다.
