Target Information
IRF3 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 3)는 type I interferon (IFN)-의존적 면역 반응의 주요 전사 조절 인자입니다.
DNA 및 RNA 바이러스에 대한 선천적 면역 반응에서 중요한 역할을 하며, type I IFN 유전자(IFN-alpha 및 IFN-beta)와 IFN 자극 유전자(ISG)의 전사를 조절합니다.
IRF3는 감염되지 않은 세포의 세포질 내에서 비활성 형태로 존재하며, 바이러스 감염이나 이중가닥 RNA, Toll-like receptor 신호에 의해 활성화됩니다.
IKBKE 및 TBK1 키나아제에 의해 인산화되어 이합체화 및 핵 내 이동을 유도하고, CREB 결합 단백질과 결합하여 dsRNA-activated factor 1 (DRAF1) 복합체를 형성하여 type I IFN 및 ISG 유전자의 전사를 활성화합니다.
IRF3 유전자의 돌연변이는 급성 감염 유발성 뇌병증(herpes-specific encephalopathy)과 관련이 있습니다.
