Target Information
Putative Polycomb group (PcG) protein involved in maintaining transcriptional repression of homeotic genes through development. PcG proteins form multiprotein complexes that act via histone methylation, altering chromatin expressibility. This protein also participates in transcriptional regulation mediated by ligand-bound nuclear hormone receptors such as PPARG, acting as a coactivator to enhance adipocyte differentiation.
