CD79b는 B 세포 항원 수용체 Ig 베타 사슬(BCR-Ig beta)로, Ig 알파 사슬과 결합하여 기능적 헤테로다이머를 형성하며 막 결합 면역글로불린(mIg)과 상호작용합니다. mIgM 구성 요소는 항원을 결합하고 Ig 알파/Ig 베타 헤테로다이머는 신호를 전달합니다.
