Target Information
Nitric oxide (NO)는 세포 간 신호 전달을 수행하는 무기성 기체 자유 라디칼입니다. NO는 혈관 이완, 신경 전달, 세포 독성 등 다양한 생리적 반응을 매개합니다.
NO 생성은 nitric oxide synthase (NOS) 가족에 의해 조절되며, NOS는 L-arginine을 산화시켜 L-citrulline과 NO를 생성합니다.
NOS에는 세 가지 주요 아이소폼이 존재합니다:
- b/nNOS (type I, neuronal NOS)
- eNOS (type III, endothelial cell NOS)
- iNOS (type II, inducible NOS)
