Target Information
FLASH/CASP8AP2는 caspase 8의 death-effector domain(DED)과 상호작용하는 mouse apoptotic protein FLASH와 높은 유사성을 보입니다. 이 단백질은 Fas receptor, FADD, caspase 8을 포함하는 death-inducing signaling complex의 구성 요소로 작용하며, Fas 매개 세포사멸(apoptosis)의 조절에 관여합니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 동일한 단백질을 암호화하는 여러 전사 변형체가 생성됩니다.
