LKB1 (also known as STK11 - Serine/threonine-protein kinase STK11)는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제 계열의 종양 억제 단백질입니다. LKB1은 p53과 물리적으로 결합하여 특정 p53 의존성 세포자멸 경로를 조절하며, 세포질과 핵 모두에 존재합니다. 세포자멸이 진행될 때 미토콘드리아로 이동하며, AMPK 및 관련 키나아제들을 조절하는 상위 조절 인자로 기능합니다. LKB1 유전자의 돌연변이는 Peutz-Jeghers 증후군과 관련이 있습니다.
