Target Information
MTMR14 유전자는 myotubularin-related 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 phosphoinositide phosphatase로서 phosphatidylinositol 3,5-biphosphate 및 phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate를 탈인산화합니다.
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 상염색체 우성 중심핵근병증(centronuclear myopathy)과 관련이 있으며, 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 전사 변이체가 생성됩니다.
또한 염색체 18에 해당 유전자의 유사유전자가 존재합니다.
