Target Information

This gene encodes a protein containing 9 WD repeats, which are 30–40 amino acid domains with conserved residues, including a Trp-Asp motif at the C-terminus. WD domains are involved in protein–protein interactions, and the encoded protein may help induce the disassembly of actin filaments. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
