The Human REG-3a Simplex ProcartaPlex™ Kit measures REG-3a protein and is designed to be combinable with other Simplex kits to create custom multiplex panels utilizing Luminex™ xMAP technology for protein detection and quantitation.
When combining multiple Simplex kits, only one buffer kit (sold separately) is required per assay plate regardless of plex size.

About ProcartaPlex Assays for the Luminex Platform

ProcartaPlex immunoassays are based on sandwich ELISA principles, using two highly specific antibodies binding to different epitopes of one protein to simultaneously quantify multiple protein targets using a Luminex instrument.
These assays require as little as 25 μL of plasma or serum, or 50 μL of cell culture supernatant, and provide analyzed results within four hours.

기술 개요

ProcartaPlex assays utilize Luminex xMAP (multianalyte profiling) technology for simultaneous detection and quantitation of up to 80 protein targets in a single 25–50 μL sample from plasma, serum, cell culture supernatants, and other bodily fluids.

Luminex beads are internally dyed with precise proportions of red and infrared fluorophores to create spectrally unique signatures identifiable by Luminex detection systems (e.g., Luminex 200, FLEXMAP 3D, MAGPIX).
Matched antibody pairs identify the target protein, and detection is achieved using biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin–R-phycoerythrin (RPE).
Unlike traditional ELISA, the capture antibody in ProcartaPlex assays is conjugated to beads rather than adsorbed to a plate, allowing free-floating reagents and efficient multiplexing.
