Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and exhibit well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target antibodies. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility across multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and increase sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and modification (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
