Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, approximately 40% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-17B is observed.
- Less than 0.3% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-17, IL-17C, IL-17D, IL-17E, and IL-17F.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a T cell-derived cytokine sharing sequence similarity with IL-17. It stimulates release of TNF alpha (TNF) and IL1 beta (IL1B) from monocytic cells. Immunohistochemical analysis indicates localization primarily in neuronal cell bodies of several nerve tissues.
