Background
- Function: Rho-guanine nucleotide exchange factor activating RAC1. Plays a role in response to class 3 semaphorins and actin cytoskeleton remodeling.
- Similarity: Contains 1 DH (DBL-homology) domain, 1 FERM domain, and 2 PH domains.
- Subunit Interaction: Interacts with PLXNA1 and PIP5K1C; interaction lowers guanine nucleotide exchange activity. Dissociates from PLXNA1 upon SEMA3A binding. Interaction with PIP5K1C via FERM domain is enhanced by SEMA3A.
