Product Specific Information
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
A BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with human HDAC10 based on 100% sequence homology. Cross-reactivity with HDAC10 from other species has not been determined.
Target Information
HDAC10 is responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). Histone deacetylation acts as a tag for epigenetic repression and plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and developmental processes.
Histone deacetylases function through the formation of large multiprotein complexes.
