Target Information
ETS variant 5 (ETV5)는 ETS 패밀리에 속하는 전사 인자로, winged helix-turn-helix 초패밀리의 변형된 구성원입니다.
뇌, 태반 등 다양한 발달 관련 조직에서 발현되며, Sertoli 세포 및 정원줄기세포(SSCs)에서도 발현됩니다.
Knockout 마우스 연구에 따르면 SSC의 자가 재생에는 필수적이나 분화에는 필요하지 않아, 결핍된 경우 생식세포 고갈이 진행됩니다.
