Target Information
Fatty acid synthase (FASN)는 다기능 단백질로, NADPH 존재 하에 acetyl-CoA와 malonyl-CoA로부터 palmitate를 합성하여 장쇄 포화 지방산을 생성합니다. 일부 암세포주에서는 FASN이 estrogen receptor-alpha (ER-alpha)와 융합되어, FAS의 N-말단이 ER-alpha의 C-말단과 in-frame으로 결합된 형태로 발견됩니다.
