Target Information
p38 MAPK 경로는 세포 스트레스, 염증 및 다양한 신호에 대한 반응을 조절합니다.
p38 MAPK는 비인산화 상태에서는 비활성이며, Thr-Gly-Tyr 모티프의 이중 인산화에 의해 빠르게 활성화됩니다.
p38 MAPK는 조직 발현 및 상위/하위 조절자에 대한 친화성이 다른 네 가지 isoform(α, β, γ, δ)을 가집니다.
세포가 TNF, IL-1, 열충격 등의 자극을 받으면 MAPK kinase-3이 인산화되어 활성화되고, 이는 p38 MAPK의 Thr180 및 Tyr182 잔기를 인산화시킵니다.
활성화된 p38 MAPK는 ATF-2, CHOP-1, MEF-2 등 여러 전사인자를 인산화하여 활성화합니다.
