Target Information
This gene encodes the third of three enzymes that post-translationally modify isoprenylated C-terminal cysteine residues in certain proteins, targeting them to the cell membrane. The enzyme localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum. Alternative splicing may result in other transcript variants, though their biological validity has not been determined.
