Target Information
HMHA1 단백질은 Rho-type GTPases(RhoGAP) 도메인을 포함하여 세포골격 및 세포 확산을 음성 조절할 수 있습니다. 또한 N-말단에 BAR 도메인을 포함하여 RhoGAP 활성에 자가억제 효과를 나타냅니다.
이 단백질은 minor histocompatibility antigen HA-1의 전구체로, MHC 복합체와 결합 시 T세포 인식에 의해 면역반응을 유도할 수 있습니다. 이러한 반응은 HLA-동일 골수이식 후 이식편대숙주병(GVHD)을 유발할 수 있으며, 특히 HA-1 불일치는 심각한 GVHD 발생과 관련이 있습니다.
HA-1은 MHC class I HLA-A*0201 및 다른 HLA-A 대립유전자에 의해 세포 표면에 제시되며, HLA-동일 동종 골수이식 후 공여자 CTL의 혈액암 세포 인식 및 용해를 유도합니다.
