Target Information
Tetranectin (TN)은 Ca++에 결합하는 혈청 및 조직 단백질로, C-type lectin 계열에 속합니다.
TN은 20 kDa 크기의 단량체 3개가 결합한 homotrimer 형태이며, 혈장 또는 혈청 내 농도는 약 10 mg/L입니다.
In vitro에서 TN은 plasminogen의 kringle 4 영역에 결합하여, poly-D-lysine 존재 하에서 tissue plasminogen activator에 의해 plasminogen이 plasmin으로 활성화되는 과정을 촉진합니다.
TN은 난소암의 예후 인자(prognostic marker) 로 잘 알려져 있습니다.
