Target Information
RING-type zinc finger motif는 다양한 바이러스 및 진핵 단백질에 존재하며, 두 개의 아연 원자를 결합할 수 있는 보존된 시스테인 풍부 도메인으로 구성되어 있습니다. 이러한 단백질들은 일반적으로 단백질 분해의 유비퀴틴화 경로에 관여합니다.
Nrdp1 (RNF41, RING finger protein 41, SBBI03, FLRF)은 317 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질로, 하나의 RING-type zinc finger와 하나의 SIAH-type zinc finger를 포함합니다. 이는 고환, 난소, 전립선에서 발현되며, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase로 기능하여 E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme으로부터 유비퀴틴을 전달받아 표적 단백질의 분해를 유도합니다. 특히 ErbB-3 및 UBPY와 상호작용하여 이들을 proteasomal degradation으로 유도합니다.
