Target Information
Relaxin 3는 신경펩타이드 신호 전달에 중요한 역할을 하는 Relaxin-like peptide 계열의 단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 인간 Relaxin receptor 3 및 Relaxin receptor 4에 결합하는 리간드로 작용합니다.
Relaxin 3는 뇌의 pons/medulla 영역에서 가장 높은 발현을 보이며, dorsal tegmental nucleus의 pars ventromedialis에서 특히 높습니다.
또한 hippocampus와 olfactory region, spleen, thymus, lung, ovary에서도 발현됩니다.
Relaxin 3는 Relaxin receptor 3을 발현하는 세포에서 Forskolin에 의해 유도된 cAMP 축적을 농도 의존적으로 억제합니다.
반복적 Relaxin 3 투여는 혈장 TSH 수준을 감소시켜 음식 섭취 조절에 관여할 가능성을 시사합니다.
