Product Specific Information

Each antibody lot is tested for sensitivity by ELISA and specificity by immunoelectrophoresis (IEP).
Rehydrate with 1.1 mL of deionized water and allow to stand for 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve (product overfilled for complete recovery). Centrifuge to remove particulates. Prepare fresh working dilution daily.
Store lyophilized material at 2–8°C. For long-term storage after reconstitution, dilute with 50% glycerol and store at -20°C as a liquid.
Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin goat serum components.

Target Information

Anti-Goat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and exhibit well-characterized specificity for goat immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of goat IgG and compatible with various detection systems such as HRP, AP, and fluorescence.
These antibodies enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled goat immunoglobulins, they may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to achieve high specificity.
