For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

C6 is a component of the complement cascade, forming part of the membrane attack complex (MAC) that can insert into cell membranes and induce lysis.
Individuals with C6 deficiency are more susceptible to bacterial infections.
Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.
