Rat anti Mouse JAM-C, clone CRAM-19 H36 recognizes mouse and human Junctional Adhesion Molecule C (JAM-C), also known as JAM-3 and, historically, JAM-2.
Target Information
JAM3 is involved in tight junction formation and contributes to cell-to-cell adhesion in epithelial and endothelial cell layers. It forms continuous seals around cells, serving as a barrier to solute and water passage through the paracellular space. The encoded protein localizes at tight junctions between high endothelial cells and exhibits weak homotypic interactions, unlike other members of the JAM family. It functions as a receptor for another JAM family protein.
