Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
YBX1 binds to splice sites in pre-mRNA and regulates splice site selection. It stabilizes cytoplasmic mRNA and modulates translation by influencing interactions between mRNA and eukaryotic initiation factors.
This protein binds to promoters containing a Y-box sequence (5'-CTGATTGGCCAA-3'), such as HLA class II genes, and regulates transcription of numerous genes.
It promotes separation of DNA strands with mismatches or cisplatin modifications, exhibits endonucleolytic activity introducing nicks or breaks into double-stranded DNA in vitro, and may play a role in DNA repair.
