Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Peripherin is a 57 kDa type III intermediate filament protein, serving as a specific marker for peripheral neurons, including enteric ganglion cells.
It is expressed in the developing peripheral nervous system and enriched in neuronal derivatives of the neural crest.
Peripherin provides an advantage over other neural markers such as S100 and NSE, as it does not stain chromaffin cell types.
