Product Specific Information
The A20 monoclonal antibody reacts with the mouse CD45 molecule (leukocyte common antigen, LCA) in CD45.1-expressing mouse strains such as SJL/J, DA, STS/A, and RIII. CD45.1 is expressed by all leukocytes in these strains.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤1.0 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration recommended.
Super Bright 600 is a tandem dye excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 600 nm. Recommended detection filter: 610/20 bandpass.
When using multiple Super Bright conjugates, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize polymer interactions.
Light sensitivity: Protect from light.
Fixation: Samples can be fixed with IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
Laser: Violet (405 nm)
Emission: 600 nm

Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising ~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It regulates Src-family kinases and plays roles in lymphocyte development, antigen signaling, integrin-mediated survival, and apoptosis. CD45 exists as multiple isoforms due to alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains and cell-type-specific expression. CD45RA is one such isoform with restricted lymphoid cell subtype expression.
