Product Specific Information

This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select the best clones for production.

Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:

  • High specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin–free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to large rabbit immune repertoire

This antibody has specificity for Mouse MAP2.

Target Information

The ADP-ribosylation factor (Arf) family are highly conserved members of the Ras superfamily of regulatory GTP-binding proteins. Arf proteins are involved in intracellular protein routing, Golgi complex maintenance, and coat protein assembly, and act as activators of phospholipase D. The Arf family is divided into Arf and Arf-like (Arl) proteins. ARF proteins are categorized as:

  • Class I: ARF1, ARF2, ARF3
  • Class II: ARF4, ARF5
  • Class III: ARF6

Members of each class share a common gene organization.
