This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody specifically recognizes Mouse LY9/CD229/SLAMF3.
Target Information
CD229 (Ly9) is a cell surface receptor of the CD150 family, which also includes CD48 and CD224. These receptors regulate cytokine production and cytotoxicity of lymphocytes and NK cells.
High levels of CD229 are found on T and B cells, increasing during maturation. It is absent on granulocytes, bone marrow-derived dendritic cells, platelets, and erythrocytes, but has been reported on mouse monocytes and NK cells.
CD229 interacts homophilically through its N-terminal domain and localizes to the contact site between T cells and antigen-presenting B cells during antigen-dependent immune synapse formation.
