Target Information
Jumonji (JARID2) is a nuclear protein involved in the negative regulation of cell growth. It is essential for neural tube formation, heart development, and function. JARID2 belongs to a group of proteins containing the JmjC domain, which is associated with chromatin regulation through histone demethylation.
