ITGB1 (Integrin Subunit Beta 1, CD29)
ITGB1은 110 kDa의 세포 표면 당단백질로 다양한 세포(모든 백혈구 포함)에 발현됩니다. ITGB1은 최소 6개의 α-체인(alpha1–alpha6, CDa–f)과 비공유결합된 이합체를 형성하여 결합 특성을 결정합니다.
세포 접착 분자로서 혈소판 및 다양한 세포 외 기질 단백질 복합체의 구성 요소로 작용합니다. ITGB1 발현 감소는 항암제 존재 시 종양 세포의 다약제 내성과 관련이 있습니다.
염증성 장질환, 면역세포 이동, 조직 손상 반응 등 다양한 생리적 및 병리적 과정에 관여합니다.
Fibronectin 및 Type I collagen은 ITGB1 의존적 기전을 통해 IL-1β 반응 시 인간 기도 평활근의 사이토카인 분비를 증가시킵니다.
포유류에서 8개 이상의 β-서브유닛과 다양한 스플라이스 변형체가 존재하며, 주요 형태는 β1A와 β1D로, 13개의 아미노산 차이를 가집니다.
β1A는 대부분의 조직에서, β1D는 심장 및 골격근에서 발현됩니다.
