Product Specific Information
This antibody recognizes an extracellular epitope on CD64/FcgammaRI, a 72 kDa single-chain type I glycoprotein expressed on monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated granulocytes. The epitope is sensitive to formalin fixation.
Target Information
CD64 (FCGR1A) encodes a high-affinity Fc-gamma receptor involved in immune response. It is one of three related genes located on chromosome 1 and has been studied in relation to cervical adenitis and tetrasomy 21.
