Target Information
NQO1 (NAD(P)H dehydrogenase [quinone] 1) is a cytoplasmic 2-electron reductase and member of the NAD(P)H dehydrogenase (quinone) family. This FAD-binding protein forms homodimers and reduces quinones to hydroquinones, preventing the formation of radical species. Altered expression is observed in various tumors and is associated with Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
