FIP1L1은 pre-mRNA 3'-말단 형성에 중요한 역할을 하는 cleavage 및 polyadenylation specificity factor (CPSF) 복합체의 구성 요소입니다.
이 단백질은 AAUAAA 신호 서열을 인식하고 poly(A) polymerase 및 기타 인자와 상호작용하여 절단 및 poly(A) 추가를 유도합니다.
FIP1L1은 poly(A) 부위 주변의 U-rich RNA 서열 요소에 결합하며, poly(A) polymerase를 CPSF 복합체에 연결하는 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
