Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The protein encoded by DUSP5 belongs to the dual specificity protein phosphatase subfamily.
These enzymes inactivate target kinases by dephosphorylating both phosphoserine/threonine and phosphotyrosine residues, thereby negatively regulating MAP kinase pathways involved in cellular proliferation and differentiation.
DUSP5 inactivates ERK1 and is highly expressed in the pancreas and brain, with nuclear localization.
