Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed in Expi293 cells. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

Janus kinase 2 (JAK2) is a protein tyrosine kinase involved in cytokine receptor signaling pathways and is frequently mutated in polycythemia vera. It contains the catalytic domain (JH1) responsible for kinase activity. Activation of JAKs leads to phosphorylation of STAT proteins, which dimerize and translocate to the nucleus to regulate gene transcription, including interferon-stimulated genes.

JAK2 is essential for IFN-γ receptor complex initiation, with JAK1 acting as an amplifier. Mutations in JAK2 are associated with disorders such as Budd–Chiari syndrome, Polycythemia vera, Thrombocythemia 3, Myelofibrosis, and Acute myelogenous leukemia.
