For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Steroid receptors are ligand-dependent intracellular proteins that activate transcription of specific genes upon hormone binding. Before activation, these receptors form complexes with various proteins such as HSP70, HSP90, and immunophilins (FKBP52, FKBP54, CyP-40), as well as p23, p60, and p48.
p23, encoded by human PTGES3, is a 160-amino-acid acidic phosphoprotein highly conserved among species. It interacts with HSP90 and is essential for the binding of HSP90 and CyP-40 to the progesterone receptor (PR). Although its precise function remains unclear, p23 plays a critical role in PR complex formation and function.
