Product Specific Information

This donkey anti-chicken IgY (H+L) whole secondary antibody is affinity-purified and highly cross-adsorbed to minimize cross-reactivity with other species’ serum proteins. The cross-adsorption process enhances specificity, resulting in higher sensitivity and reduced background staining. This is particularly beneficial for multiplexing or multicolor staining experiments such as flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy.

Alexa Fluor™ 568 is a bright orange/red fluorescent dye with excitation suitable for the 568 nm laser line. It exhibits high photostability and pH insensitivity, allowing consistent signal generation across a wide range of conditions. The labeling ratio is typically 2–8 fluorophores per IgG molecule, as indicated in the certificate of analysis.

Usage recommendation:
Before use, briefly centrifuge the conjugate solution and use the supernatant to minimize aggregates. Optimal antibody dilution should be determined empirically; typically, 1–10 µg/mL is suitable for most IHC and flow cytometry applications.
