Product Specific Information

This donkey anti-chicken IgY (H+L) whole secondary antibody has been affinity-purified and shows minimal cross-reactivity with serum proteins from other species. Cross-adsorption enhances specificity, resulting in higher sensitivity and lower background staining. This is particularly beneficial for multiplex or multicolor staining experiments, such as flow cytometry or immunofluorescence, where potential cross-reactivity can occur.

Alexa Fluor™ 488 dye provides bright, green fluorescence ideally excited at 488 nm. It is pH-insensitive over a wide range, highly photostable, and suitable for detecting low-abundance targets. Each antibody is typically labeled with 2–8 dye molecules per IgG, as indicated in the certificate of analysis.

Usage Tips:

• Centrifuge the conjugate briefly before use and use only the supernatant to minimize aggregates.
• Recommended working concentration: 1–10 µg/mL for most applications.
• Product ships at room temperature.
