For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD27 is a 50 kDa member of the TNF receptor superfamily, which includes CD40 and CD30. Members of this family regulate cell proliferation and apoptosis.
CD27 and its ligand CD70 are mainly expressed on lymphocytes. CD27 expression increases upon antigen receptor engagement, while CD70 requires additional co-stimulatory or inflammatory signals.

CD27 is found as a disulfide-linked homodimer on mature thymocytes, peripheral T cells, and subsets of B cells. Upon T-cell activation, soluble CD27 (sCD27) is released and can be detected in plasma, urine, or spinal fluid, serving as a prognostic marker for B-cell malignancies.

The CD27-binding protein SIVA is a pro-apoptotic molecule that interacts with CD27 and may mediate apoptosis through this receptor.
Diseases associated with CD27 dysfunction include Lymphoproliferative Syndrome 2 and Autosomal Recessive Lymphoproliferative Syndrome.
