Target Information
VDAC(Voltage-dependent anion channel) 단백질은 진핵세포 미토콘드리아 외막에 존재하는 풍부한 포린 단백질로, 세포 대사 및 초기 세포자멸사(apoptosis)에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
VDAC는 ADP/ATP, succinate, citrate 등의 대사체가 세포질과 미토콘드리아 사이를 교환하는 주요 통로를 형성합니다.
또한, 세포막에 존재하는 VDAC1은 산화환원 활성(redox activity)을 통해 세포자멸사 조절의 새로운 수준을 제공합니다.
