Anti-Tubulin Loading Control Antibody is directed against human alpha Tubulin protein.
BLAST analysis indicates reactivity with alpha Tubulin from a wide range of organisms including avian, mammalian, aquatic, parasitic, and algal sources based on 100% homology of the immunogen sequence.
Cross-reactivity occurs with all isoforms of alpha Tubulin, making this antibody an excellent loading control.

Target Information

Alpha Tubulin forms a heterodimer with beta Tubulin, each approximately 55 kDa in molecular weight.
This heterodimer is the fundamental unit of microtubules, which are essential structural components in nearly all eukaryotic cells.
Microtubules provide structural support, intracellular transport, and play a key role in mitosis.
Gamma Tubulin assists in microtubule nucleation.
Alpha and beta Tubulin genes are highly conserved among species, with alpha Tubulin closely related to mouse and rat Tuba1 genes.
Expression is predominantly found in morphologically differentiated neurologic cells.
