Target Information
CD5는 67 kDa의 인간 T-림프구 단일사슬 막관통 당단백질로, 모든 성숙 T-림프구, 대부분의 흉선세포, 그리고 많은 T세포 백혈병 및 림프종에서 발현됩니다. 또한 활성화된 B세포의 일부 하위집단에서도 반응하며, T세포 증식 조절에 관여하는 수용체로 작용할 수 있습니다.
CD5는 흉선세포의 95%, 말초혈액 림프구의 72%에서 발현되며, 림프절에서는 주로 T세포 영역에서 반응이 관찰됩니다.
CD5 이상과 관련된 질환으로는 흉선암과 Richter’s Syndrome이 있습니다.
