Target Information
NSF is required for vesicle-mediated transport and catalyzes the fusion of transport vesicles within the Golgi cisternae. It is also essential for transport from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi stack and functions as a fusion protein required for delivery of cargo proteins to Golgi compartments independent of vesicle origin.
