Target Information
STK38L (also known as NDR2) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the AGC kinase family. It acts as a pro-apoptotic kinase activated by RASSF1A/MST1 in response to Fas receptor stimulation, promoting apoptosis. STK38L plays a role in the regulation of structural processes in differentiating and mature neuronal cells and is highly expressed in the thymus. It contains 12 protein kinase catalytic subdomains and a potential bipartite nuclear localization signal.
