Product Specific Information

  • Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water and centrifuge to remove insoluble material.
  • Antigen shares 85% identity with mouse and rat sequences.
  • Specificity: CHRNA10.

Target Information

Ionotropic receptor involved in modulation of auditory stimuli. Agonist binding induces conformational changes leading to opening of an ion channel permeable to divalent cations, including calcium. Calcium influx may activate potassium currents and hyperpolarize the cell membrane. In the ear, this process may reduce basilar membrane motion, modulate auditory nerve activity, and help protect against acoustic trauma.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
