Skp2 (S-phase Kinase-associated Protein 2)는 Cyclin A-Cdk2 복합체와 상호작용하는 F-box 단백질 계열에 속합니다. Skp2는 G1-S 전이 과정에 필수적이며, p27의 유비퀴틴화 및 분해에 관여합니다. 정상 조직에서는 편도와 태반에서 발현되며, 종양 조직에서는 다양한 암종(대장, 전립선, 췌장, 피부 등)에서 발현됩니다. 특히 폐, 유방, 난소, 자궁내막암에서 높은 발현이 보고되었습니다. Skp2는 림프종 및 유방암의 발생과 관련된 종양 형성 과정에서 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
