Target Information
PGAM1은 phosphoglycerate mutase family에 속하며, 포도당 및 2,3-BPGA(2,3-bisphosphoglycerate) 대사에서 중요한 역할을 합니다. 해당 효소는 해당과정에서 3-phosphoglycerate(3-PGA)를 2-phosphoglycerate(2-PGA)로 가역적으로 변환합니다.
PGAM1 단백질은 이합체 효소로, 조직에 따라 근육형(MM), 뇌형(BB), 혼합형(MB) 이소효소를 다양한 비율로 포함합니다.
PGAM1 유전자 돌연변이는 glycogen storage disease X로 알려진 muscle phosphoglycerate mutase 효율 저하를 유발합니다.
Recombinant human PGAM protein은 N-말단 His-tag와 함께 E. coli에서 발현되어 표준 크로마토그래피 기술로 정제되었습니다.
